Hey guys,
what would you think about a crossbow in PS2?
It should be only for short ranges and has to kill with one shot(in my opinion) maybe with three arrows per mag and self-reloading
What is your opinion about that?
RedShredThis article is going to address two topics, the first of which, concerns the average expense of Station Cash and Certification Points, in order to acquire items, and the second addresses the validity of station cash for certain items. Several passeges below have been extracted from an unknown contributer to Planeside, who argues to this extent in a discussion labeled: Camo Certifications-
#1 The overall cost to certifications is overated. One flaw constantly viewed by gamers, majoritavely free-to-play gamers, is that this cost is absurdely high. The proof of this can be found in most game reviews of reputable mention, such as the Angry Joe Show, wherein the players will complain either the time necessary to acquire items, or the cost at which they might be bought. Substantially, this can be overviewed, as games are bound to acquire complainers. However. This can no longer be ignored, as the now-evident tediousness required to obtain items is quite undisputabley infuriating. I, as well as other zealous gamers, want to have maximized custimization ability, which is expediant toward the ultimate gaming experiance. This does not imply that we demand these items at little to no cost. Rather, we recognize the need for revenue, which is acquired through station-cash pricing, and we list our demands accordingly. These demands are instead concentrated towards the decreased price of items in general for free-to-play and pay-to-win members alike, which would then put into action the conventional pattern: With the decrease in price, gamers will flock to this game. As they play, they will notice the exclusive benefits of being a pay-to-win member, and buy a membership. In conclusion, the price decrease on these items will help this game prosper. This brings us to topic #2
#2 Very much akin to topic #1, this topic discusses the vailidity of Membership necessity, in order to acquire items. While Planetside is quite reliable when it comes to exclusive items, so as to advertise the purchase of memberships, the extent at which they do this is broken. It is of the oppinion of many, that such exclusive privileges ought to extend only to those benefits which are not considered necessital. Among these, as of the popular oppinion, camos and decals are not thus listed. A major flaw viewed collectively is that camos and decals are such items that ought not to be exclusive, but are instead basic needs, as many if not all gamers demand maximum custumization. This is then a flaw, as free-to-play members will lose interest in this game. Therefor, I now propose both a demand, and an alternative solution. The demand states that decals and camos, should be made available to F.T.P. gamers, even if the cost is substantial, as it would be a progressive step. The alernative, would be that to replace these exclusive items, there should instead be an exclusive set of vehicle attachments, or item consumables, such as a special grenade or ammo rounds. These are the proposals of myself and of zealous gamers. Please forward thiese requests.
This is a serious problem: one that pissed the hell out of me when I started playing this game. This applies to not only camos, but armor and decals as well, although this problem generates around camos primarily. The problem is as such...WHY does something so BASIC as camos, require station cash? It is seriously not all that exclusive, or it definately should NOT be, and it is the thing that players want the most. If you even required 500 certs for one, that would be something. But NO. Planetside has the audacity to charge us money, a LOT, for simple camo crap, which is LIVING HELL for free-to-play members. I, and certainly other F.T.Players, are pissed that we can't even get CAMOS without paying, and while I understand the need for revenue, this is still too steep. It is of dire necessity for SONY to understand this crisis, and change the requirements for such things, as it would dramatically increase the amount of players participating. Honestly, I felt like quitting after I saw this flaw. I hope that other players will come to further this request, as I am currently less inclined to believe that this game is revolutionary, as I first thought, since it can't even allow the use of such basic custimization. Like this post if you agree.
