Bushwhacked was the eleventh event of Chapter 1 of the Shattered Warpgate campaign. This event was optional.

Starting this event required the completion of Sowing Chaos. Completing this event unlocked the daily mission of the same name.

Springing up seemingly overnight, some of the new flora scattered around the Shattered Warpgate are emitting a strange energy signature.

If this plantlife can lead to new technological advances for better or ill, gathering samples becomes a high priority.

In a welcome change of pace, teams of soldiers set out on gardening duty, using their knives to delicately harvest the glowing cores within these young plant specimens.

Objectives

Warden Hadley: You see those glowing plants around the Shattered Warpgate? The Board has interest in them for medical purposes, maybe?

Hadley: Anyway, we need the little glowing cores out of the center of these plants, but the skin is pretty thick. Gotta use your knife. You're good at that, right?

After speaking with Warden Hadley following the collection of fifty Strange Glowing Plant Cores

Hadley: Our science labs say they're going to need a constant supply of these cores, so we'll let you know when we need some more gardening done.

After speaking with Field Officer Knightly

Field Officer Knightly: Listen up, soldier. We've got some weeding that needs done around the Shattered Warpgate area.

Knightly: This new plantlife needs to end up in our labs for research, but before that happens you'll need to extract the plant's core with your trusty knife.

After speaking with Field Officer Knightly following the collection of fifty Strange Glowing Plant Cores

Knightly: Nice work, soldier. We'll need more of these plants in the future, so I'll be in touch when a new shipment is requested.

After speaking with Praetor Umatherin

Praetor Umatherin: Greetings, my child. The flora surrounding the Shattered Warpgate is of great interest to our medical personnel.

Umatherin: Using your blade, we ask that you remove the glowing cores within the plants and bring them to us.

Umatherin: We will continue to require fresh harvests of these plants. I will contact you in the future when it is necessary.

After speaking with Facilitator Campner

Facilitator Campner: Hello, operative. I am told that you must recover samples of the plantlife surrounding the Shattered Warpgate.

Campner: A melee weapon is needed to sever the glowing core from the rest of the plant, this is the portion you must deliver to us for study.

Campner: Delivery received, operative. We will alert you when new shipments are required.
