The C75 Viper is the default turret for the Nanite SystemsLightning. It's an automatic, multi-role turret, with a six round magazine capacity. Viper can output higher damage per reload at closer ranges compared to L100 Python series of turrets, but require spacing the shots at longer distances reducing damage potential.
The following table indicates the number of direct hits required from a C75 Viper turret to destroy a stock version of an appropriate vehicle from full health. The number of shells required to set a stock opponent on fire is listed in brackets. Remember that the C75 Viper has a 6 round magazine per reload which is reflects the much higher shot count when compared to other Lightning turrets.
Note: Shots to Kill does not take into account reload times, shell velocities, or other vehicle mitigations such as fire suppression, extra armor, or nanite repair systems. The values should be used as a rough indication only when comparing between turrets.
With any Lightning turret, it is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with a Lightning turret. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the Lightning turret.
Dev Note: This moves Sunderer and MBT from 23 shots to kill to 20 shots to kill; Harasser goes from 10 to 9 hits to kill. The cone of fire adjustments will max out the Viper's cone of fire while mag dumping in 3 shots, instead of 2, allowing for accurate shots from longer ranges while feathering the trigger, and extending the mag-dump range out slightly.
