The Cerberus is a pistol available to the Vanu Sovereignty. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

The Cerberus was clearly designed with the intent to echo the design language of the New Conglomerate, with the pistol specifically appearing very similar to the LA8 Rebel. With a high caliber round affording it the highest damage-per-shot of any faction specific sidearm, shared with the Rebel, the Cerberus is excellent at quickly ending engagements in the hands of a precise marksman.

However, the Cerberus struggles with a relatively small magazine and, though faster than the Rebel's, a nonetheless low fire rate, making it unforgiving in prolonged engagements and perhaps more difficult to use, with an extremely harsh damage drop-off hindering the weapon at range. The pistol's excellent aimed accuracy, workable hip cone-of-fire values, and incredibly high damage do allow the weapon a chance to shine at close range in the hands of a skilled user, however.

Flash Suppressor

A flash suppressor makes the shooter less visible to the enemy, but increases the range at which you appear on enemy minimaps by 15 meters.

The weapon's muzzle flash and noise generation is reduced, and the player no longer appears on the minimap when firing. In exchange, the weapon's damage falls off 20 meters sooner and bullet velocity is reduced by 15%.

Darklight Flashlight

The rail mounted Darklight Flashlight can illuminate hostile cloaked infiltrators and dark areas but the light can give away your position.
The light can be turned on and off with Toggle Attachment hotkey.
Extended Magazine

Increases the amount of ammunition in each magazine by 4 rounds, and the weapon takes 15% longer to equip and unequip.
Laser Sight

A laser sight increases the user's hipfire accuracy by 33%.

Cerberus Ammunition divides the weapon's damage into three separate pellets that spread horizontally when fired from the hip, and vertically when fired while aiming.
