The Condensate Grenade was a grenade available to the Heavy Assault. It was unlocked through purchase with Campaign Standing in Sanctuary.
When thrown, condensate grenades began a 3 second fuse. After this timer elapsed, the grenade detonated, immediately slowing the movement speed of all affected infantry by 20%, as well as increasing the reload time and reducing the rate-of-fire of their weapons by the same percentage. This effect lasted for up to 6 seconds.
Unlike most other grenades that apply a debuff, the condensate grenade did not provide any clear indication to the victim that they were under its effect, such as the screen-obfuscating effects incurred by victims of those other grenades.

- This item was made accessible with chapter 1 of the Shattered Warpgate campaign, and remained available for purchase until the end of the campaign, at which point all players who owned the item lost access to it.
