The Detonator manufactures a long-range artillery shell carrying an explosive anti-vehicle payload that increases in power the further it travels, dealing maximum damage beyond 100 meters. This weapon has an arming distance of 20 meters.

The D11 Detonator is an arm-mounted weapon available to the Defector. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

A variant of the Grenade Printer, the D11 Detonator is a long-range anti-vehicle weapon. Prior to traveling 20 meters, its grenades are inert and only capable of dealing their minimal direct damage, however their explosive payload arms past this range and drastically scales up in damage until it has traveled a 100 meters, capable of dealing serious damage to vehicles at longer ranges as a result.

Prior to traveling 20 meters, the Detonator deals zero explosive damage. Upon reaching that range, the Detonator's maximum indirect damage begins at 90, and scales linearly over the subsequent 80 meters up to a maximum of 750 damage. The explosive damage type, unlike most other indirect damage sources, uses the 'infantry rocket launcher' resist type, allowing it to deal heavy damage to vehicles, and is the source of the Detonator's incredible scaling damage over distance. From testing, the maximum distance detonator rounds will travel is a little over 320 meters before despawning.

It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the D11 Detonator. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the arm. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.
