Extended Magazine

Increases the amount of ammunition in each magazine by set amount, dependent on the weapon.

Extended Magazine is a rail attachment available to a variety of weapons. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

While in use, extended magazines increases the magazine size of the weapon by the listed amount, which may be a percentage increase or a flat increase dependent on the specific weapon.

Ammunition Belt takes into account the weapon's current magazine size, increasing the benefit provided by the suit slot enhancement in the case that Extended Magazine is used.

Availability

The standard Extended Magazine attachment is available to a wide variety of weapons, of different classes. Refer to each individual weapon for the exact benefits of this attachment, as it is based heavily on the weapon's original magazine size.

Scout Rifles

As the only scout rifle able to equip it, the NSX Tomoe receives an additional two rounds from the Extended Magazine attachment.

Light machine guns have their magazine sizes increased by 100% when the Extended Magazine attachment is used except for the NSX Naginata and the T9A "Butcher" which only receive a 50% increase.

Variations

There are a number of variations on the Extended Magazine attachment, tailored to specific guns or classes that can provide similar benefits to the base attachment, though perhaps with caveats in exchange for other benefits.

Extended Magazine is a rail attachment available to all MAX Anti-Infantry arms, the NS-10 Burster, and the NS-20 Gorgon. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

While in use, extended magazines increase the magazine size of the arm-mounted weapon by the 50%, or four shells in the case of New Conglomerate weaponry.

Ammo Storage Container takes into account the weapon's current magazine size, increasing the benefit provided by the ability in the case that Extended Magazine is used.

Heavy Magazine is an ammo type available to the MG-HBR1 Dragoon and NS-30 Tranquility. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points (A7 on the NS-30 Tranquility) or Daybreak Cash.

While in use, heavy magazines increases the magazine size of the weapon by the listed amount of rounds, however decreases the weapon's hip accuracy by 20%. In exchange, heavy magazines are located in the ammo slot, rather than fit as a rail attachment as most Extended Magazine variations are.

High-capacity Battery is an ammo type available to the SR-200. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

While in use, high-capacity batteries increase the magazine size of the weapon by 3 rounds, though increasing the time taken to rechamber the weapon after each shot by 25%. In exchange, high-capacity batteries are located in the ammo slot, rather than fit as a rail attachment as most Extended Magazine variations are.

In practice, this increases the chamber time of the weapon to 1.75 seconds, decreasing the overall firerate of the rifle from 43 RPM to 34 RPM.

Manual Calibration

Manual Calibration is a rail attachment available to the VE-LR Obelisk. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

When used, Manual Calibration increases the heat capacity of the weapon by 4,000, though decreases the heat recovery rate of the weapon by 600.

In practice, this attachment increases the weapon's effective magazine size to ten rounds, though decreases the passive 'reload speed' from 3 rounds-per-second to 2.4 rounds-per-second.

Smart Feeder

Smart Feeder is an ammo type available to the MGR-C1 Charger and MGR-L1 Promise. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

When attached, a Smart Feeder increases the magazine size of the weapon by a listed amount, however decreases the weapon's short and long reload speeds by the listed time. In exchange, the Smart Feeder is located in the ammo slot, rather than fit as a rail attachment as most Extended Magazine variations are.
