Despite the visible age of this ornate relic, the blade remains sharp to the touch. You feel that this dagger has taken many lives, possibly prior to the Auraxian war. | |||

Note: | Available for completing the Expert tier of the EverQuest's 20th Anniversary directive. Completing Master tier will replace Fatestealer with Nightshade. |
The Fatestealer is a melee weapon available to all factions. It is unlocked through purchase with Daybreak Cash.
The Fatestealer functions identically to any faction's standard issue knife, with only aesthetic differences. It deals a moderate amount of damage per swing, and has a relatively fast swing speed. It can be used both as a quick melee weapon, as well as a wielded melee tool.
To quick melee with this weapon, press the Melee Attack hotkey ( by default) while holding any other weapon. To equip this weapon for wielded melee, press the Equip Melee hotkey (- by default).
Ribbons and Medals[]
It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the Fatestealer. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the weapon. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.

Trivia[]
- The Fatestealer was initially unlocked upon completion of the Expert EverQuest's 20th Anniversary directive, though lost upon completion of the Master tier of the same directive.
- It was only later made available for direct purchase with Daybreak Cash.
- Players who did not complete the Master tier of the directive after earning the Fatestealer kept the weapon for free.
