The Flash is an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) available to all factions. It is a light, two-man vehicle with a variety of uses and an incredibly low resource cost.
Through its various utility slot modules, the Flash can be adapted for many different roles. Whether it's breaching enemy shields, harassing infantry using on-board weaponry, disrupting armor columns with infantry-held explosives, or simply navigating the map, the Flash provides the user with a lot of bang for their buck.
The crew must take care, however, as the Flash affords them no protection; just as with the passengers in the rumble seats of the Harasser and Valkyrie, both crewmen of the Flash are exposed to direct enemy fire, and the Flash itself has a very low health-pool by default, making it incredibly easy to destroy outright.
The Passenger in the rumble seat can look 360° around him, and use all weaponry and class abilities as normal. However, if the Flash is cloaked, the passenger cannot use equipment until it uncloaks.
Note that a striped down Flash known as the Flash XS-1 is also available as a tactical slot consumable.

Flash Strategies[]
- When combined with the Wraith Cloaking Device and an anti-vehicle weapon, such as the M40 Fury, or V30-F Starfall, this can be used to combat vastly superior enemy armor.
- Though the Flash is cheap, it may be wise to invest more Nanites into a vehicle with more protection in many scenarios.
- The Flash can be used as a mobile explosives-delivery platform, by attaching C-4 to the vehicle, or quickly placing infantry next to a vehicle, allowing them to use explosives such as Tank Mines.
- If there are no spawn options in a given area, a Flash can be an effective way to reach the fight.
- Even whilst cloaked, the Flash is capable of inflicting collision damage to infantry.
- Use a Gate Shield Diffuser to attack from unexpected angles within bases that have normally impenetrable shielding, such as Amp Stations.
- Your silhouette on a Flash is significantly smaller than any other vehicle, use this to your advantage when looking for cover en route to your destination.

The Flash has access to eight separate cosmetic customization slots, each modifying a different part of the vehicle.
Alongside the expected ability to add Camouflage, Decals, and Vehicle Hood Ornaments, the player can also modify the exterior of the vehicle, use the 'Other' to attach antennae and other decorations to the rear of the ATV, swap the tires and/or their hubcaps out for new ones, add lighting effects to beneath the quad's chassis, and add a trim effect to the body.
Though not necessarily defined as a cosmetic, the sound of the Flash's in-built horn can also be changed.

May 20th, 2014 Patch[]
- Flash & Harasser Handling
- With some code changes we've made over the last few updates, we’ve updated the handling on the Flash. The Flash should grip the ground a lot better and be less likely to spin out and a *little* less likely to flip. It is still possible to do both but it should be under more extreme circumstances.
- We've also enabled these changes on the Harasser, but without any tuning modifications. So the Harasser is using the new code but there shouldn't really be any noticeable difference.
