Forward Grip

A forward grip increases control of the weapon, reducing horizontal recoil by 25%.

The Forward Grip is a rail attachment available to the vast majority of primary weapons. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

While attached, a forward grip decreases the horizontal recoil, horizontal tolerance, and recoil angle values of the attached weapon by 25%, overall decreasing the degree to which the weapon kicks in the horizontal when fired.

In addition, when used on any bolt-action or semi-automatic sniper rifle, forward grips reduce the magnitude of the rifle's vertical recoil by 15%.

Though rarely mentioned in the attachment's description, all forward grips have an impact on the weapon's equip time. For most forward grips, the attached weapon takes up to 150ms longer to draw when switching to it from another slot, with the penalty length based on the specific weapon.

 Daybreak Cash As with all other attachments, if any instance of this attachment is purchased with Daybreak Cash it will still only be available for the specific weapon it was unlocked for, however it will be available on other characters who can use that same weapon.

The Advanced Forward Grip is a rail attachment available to select weaponry. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

While attached, an advanced forward grip decreases the horizontal recoil, horizontal tolerance, and recoil angle values of the attached weapon by 33%.

As with the normal forward grip, advanced forward grips have an impact on the weapon's equip time. The attached weapon takes up to 150ms longer to draw when switching to it from another slot, with the penalty length based on the specific weapon.

Availability and Stats[]

All weapons listed below receive the expected decrease, based on the percentage listed in their attachment's description, to their minimum and maximum horizontal recoil, their minimum and maximum recoil angles, and their horizontal recoil tolerance.

In addition, they receive a penalty to their equip time that varies primarily based on weapon class, though this is not always true with exceptions to be found within some classes.

If a weapon's equip time is different than the classes' typical equip time, it is listed in subscript next to the weapon. ADV denotes access to an Advanced Forward Grip.
