Glass cosmetics are a range of decals and plating available to the cockpit area of all aircraft. They are unlocked through purchase with Daybreak Cash.

Two types of glass cosmetics are available for purchase on aircraft—glass decals and cockpits. Glass decals do not modify the model of the aircraft in any way, instead applying pictures or colors solely to the glass of the aircraft. Cockpits will generally greatly modify the appearance of the cockpit and the area around it on the aircraft, adding additional plating and changing the silhouette and general design of the surrounding fuselage.

Glass cosmetics are not visible from the first person view inside the cockpit, with the view being the same as if you had no cosmetic equipped at all.

These items are exclusive to the vehicle on which they are purchased. For vehicles produced by Nanite Systems, some cosmetics may be available to characters of any faction, whereas others are limited to the usage of a single empire.

As with many other cosmetics, player-made glass decals and cockpits can be submitted for addition to the game through the Player Studio (), and any such glass that was created by a player is marked with the appropriate icon.

As a vehicle exclusive to the Terran Republic, glass cosmetics purchased for the Mosquito will only ever be available to Terran players aboard their Mosquitoes. Purchasing a glass cosmetic for the Mosquito will not unlock any equivalent for the Reaver or Scythe.

As a vehicle exclusive to the New Conglomerate, glass cosmetics purchased for the Reaver will only ever be available to Conglomerate players aboard their Reavers. Purchasing glass cosmetic for the Reaver will not unlock any equivalent for the Mosquito or Scythe.
