Indar is a warzone continent on Auraxis. The first continent introduced to PlanetSide 2, Indar is an arid landmass centered on a dried up seabed, with the southern half of the continent divided between fair greenery and a rocky canyon.
Indar is a relatively high activity continent. Most of its most important facilities are centered near the divisions between each biome, which make up the iconic "Indar T", and the continents sprawling roadways and diverse biomes allow for varied combat styles across the continent.

Places of Interest[]
The Crown[]
- Main article: The Crown
The Crown is Indar's centermost facility, designated as the continent's 'extreme valuable facility'.
A jewel nested atop the continent, the Crown is an incredibly defensible base that opens up a large variety of lattice links around the center of the continent.
The Fourth Warpgate[]
Immediately southwest of NS Refinery, there is a pattern of soil markings three hundred meters wide resembling those found under Indar's warp gates. It has been a feature of the map since 2012, and did not appear on the earliest versions of the continent prior to the public release of Planetside 2.
Its significance and possible relation to the Vanu are unknown.
The Fifth Warpgate[]
There was a second set of soil markings between the western shore of the continent and Helios Solar, Inc. that was implemented at the same time as the above markings. This set of markings was removed around the time that Koltyr was added to the game. The markings had an abstract resemblance to Koltyr.
The timing of the markings' removal may be an indication that a system where warp gates were two-way "bridges" with a predetermined continent on either side was planned and later scrapped. A similar system had been in place in Plantetside 1.
Partially Removed Facilities[]
Buildings with two bays to park a Sunderer or ANT are located in areas that were formerly occupied by full-fledged facilities prior to the April 27, 2016 Update. All that remains of these bases are a single functioning vehicle pad, the garage itself, a Vehicle Resupply tower, and perhaps a few outlying buildings. A banner above the garage will display what faction currently has access to the vehicle pad, and can be changed by Infiltrators hacking the vehicle terminal. Given that these locations are still along Lattice lines, they are occasionally fortified as player bases.
The garages correspond to the former locations of:
- Broken Arch Road
- East Canyon Checkpoint
- NS Research Labs
- Red Ridge Communications
- Sandstone Gulch Mining
- West Highlands Checkpoint
The Abandoned NS Offices also receive an honorable mention on this list for having a functioning Vehicle Resupply tower but no vehicle pad.
