The Laser Sight is a common rail attachment.
While attached, a laser sight decreases the minimum hip cone-of-fire of the attached weapon by 33% in most stances—decreasing the initial variance in where the weapon's bullets can go while hipfiring, although it has no effect on cone-of-fire bloom. This benefit is not applied to the player's cone-of-fire while they are falling, although will work while they are jumping or flying (such as with a Light Assault's jetpack.)
The attachment also project a visual laser a short distance in front of the user, visible to all players so long as the user is not cloaked.
To toggle the visual effects of this attachment, press the Toggle Attachment hotkey (T by default). This does not affect this attachment's benefits, which apply regardless of the toggled state.

Gold, White, and Pink Laser Sights are rail attachments.
These attachments function identically to the Laser Sight.
The availability of these colored laser sights is often limited to certain weapons produced by Nanite Systems, as well as cosmetic variants of other weapons. They are typically purchased with Daybreak Cash, as an alternate option to the typically available laser sight, although can also be the only laser sight available to a weapon and are, in these cases, purchasable with Certification Points—such as on the 
SOAS-20 AE.
Although their icon uses the model of the standard laser sight, colored laser sights will use the model of their weapon's normal laser sight where it differs, such as the thicker barrel-shaped laser sight found on many Nanite Systems sidearms.

- Advanced Laser Sights have all been converted to Laser Sights.
Dev Note: Like above, Advanced Laser Sights were typically given out to weapons that already had top-tier hipfire cone of fire, only furthering balance discrepancies. Unlike most attachments, laser sights don't have a real drawback beyond opportunity cost.
