The M18 Locust is a nose cannon available to the Terran Republic's Mosquito. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

The M18 Locust, similar to the Antares LC and M20 Kestrel, is a nose gun that sacrifices damage-per-second for a much larger magazine size than usual and zero damage drop-off over range.

Compared to the M18 Needler, the M18 Locust sacrifices 62 RPM, takes 0.5 seconds longer to reload, and has a cone-of-fire 0.2 degrees larger. However, it gains an extra 20m/s of muzzle velocity, twice the amount of rounds in the magazine, and deals 150 damage at all ranges, whereas the Needler drops off to 112 over distance.
