The M20 Basilisk-H is a Nanite Systems all-purpose primary weapon available to the Harasser. The Basilisk is a slow firing machine gun capable of dealing moderate damage to all target types. It is the default primary weapon available to the Harasser.
The M20 Basilisk enjoys an extremely high degree of versatility. Whilst it may not specialize into doing any one job, it can fire upon all target types to a relatively good degree of success. Similarly to the Flash, the Harasser favors a hit and run style of play. Though the Basilisk is a solid all-round weapon, it brings sub-par damage per second compared to almost any other weapon available to the Harasser.
Whilst it may be the default weapon, and thus free, it is still in the crew's best interests to purchase a different, more specialized weapon for the Harasser. Other weaponry, like the E540 Halberd or the empire-specific guns, provide much more competitive damage models allowing the Harasser crew to take out enemies whilst remaining safe.
