The M20 Mustang is a nose cannon available to the Reaver . It is unlocked by default.
The M20 Mustang is the balanced nose gun option for the New Conglomerate . Though it is outclassed at close-range damage-per-second by the Vortek Rotary and beaten in long-range fire by the M20 Kestrel , the Mustang remains highly competitive at all ranges thanks to a good muzzle velocity, high damage-per-bullet with low fall-off, and an admirable magazine size.
Compared to its contemporaries, the M18 Needler and Saron Laser Cannon , the Mustang has a far higher damage-per-bullet and overall damage-per-second, in exchange for both a lower firerate and smaller ammo capacity. This allows the Mustang to be the most lethal of the three, rewarding skilled aim the most of all standard nose cannons, though similarly requiring the most skill to begin to use effectively.
