While attached, a Mobile Prediction Laser decreases the horizontal and vertical recoil of the weapon by 60% when it is fired from the hip. It has no effect when the weapon is aimed.
The attachment also projects a visual laser a short distance in front of the user, visible to all players so long as the user is not cloaked, and is otherwise visually identical to a standard Laser Sight.
To toggle the visual effects of this attachment, press the Toggle Attachment hotkey (T by default). This does not affect this attachment's benefits, which apply regardless of the toggled state.
An MPL now reduces vertical and horizontal recoil by 60% when fired from the hip, instead of reducing hipfire pellet spread.
Dev Note: With the changes to cone of fire for shotguns, all shotgun laser sights have been converted to MPLs so that the attachment remains a relevant option for certain setups.
