The MR11 Gatekeeper is an gunner weapon available to the Prowler. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.
The MR11 Gatekeeper is a long-range-oriented rocket launcher, launching accurate and fast-traveling rockets in a quick burst. As compared to other similar long-ranged weaponry, the Gatekeeper is capable of outputting the most damage a short amount of time, thanks to emptying its entire 8-rocket magazine in less than a second. This strength, however, is tempered by a notably long reload time reducing its overall damage over extended engagements, and the weapon's reliance on landing several rockets to deal its full damage reduces its killing potential against harder to hit targets like infantry and aircraft.
As compared to the variant found on the Harasser, the Gatekeeper is slightly more accurate at longer ranges thanks to more favorable cone-of-fire characteristics.

Ribbons and Medals[]
It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the MR11 Gatekeeper. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the turret. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.

History[]
March 30, 2022 Update (The Arsenal Update)
- Weapons with no magazine size option are an exception to the above, and remain at the 10% reload speed cap (Halberd and Gatekeeper, as examples.)
- Standardized at 5/7/8.5/9.5/10% reload speed.
- Minimum velocity from 225 to 300 (Projectiles immediately start at full velocity.)
- Reload speed from 3000 to 3200
- Damage from 85 to 100
- Cone of Fire maximum from 0.4 to 0.35 (Harasser)
Dev Note: Bumping up the alpha damage and reload times quickens the weapon's time to kill against MBTs by about 2.5 seconds, while keeping Harasser time to kill the same (or better, if composite armor is equipped.) Removing the projectile acceleration should also make it easier to deliver a full payload over longer distances, and the cone of fire buff for the Harasser version should push its effective range a bit closer to the Prowler's. Overall the weapon will still have less effective range and reliability than a skillful Halberd user, but should have stronger hard benefits for its intended role now.
September 26, 2017 Update (Critical Mass) / (Undocumented Changes)
- Now on Light Anti-Vehicle resist type (from Gatekeeper resist type)
- Damage from 170 to 85
- Burst from 1 to 8
- Burst Fire Rate set to 0.1 seconds
- Projectile Gravity from 4 to 3
- Max Speed from 450 to 300
- Reload from 1.75 seconds to 3 seconds
- Recoil from 0 to 2
- Cone of Fire
- Min remains 0.15
- Max from 0.15 to 0.3 (Prowler only)
