The Mammoth Cannon is a main cannon available to the Colossus. It is unlocked by default.
The Mammoth is a heavy tank cannon designed primarily for anti-vehicle use. Though it deals a significant amount of damage per shot, it is beaten out on damage-per-second by some cannons found on main battle tanks.
The cannon's statistics can be temporarily increased using the Colossus' Mass Accelerator Drive, which grants a 32% boost to the weapon's damage, a 50% increase to muzzle velocity, and adds the ability for the weapon to pierce through vehicles, though causing the cannon to deal 500 damage back to the Colossus each time it is fired.
When the Colossus is deployed using Deployment: Skylance Battery, the Mammoth Cannon reconfigures into the Skylance Cannon.

Skylance Cannon[]
The Skylance Cannon is a main cannon available to the Colossus. It is available through using Deployment: Skylance Battery.
Unlike similar functions on other vehicles, like the Prowler's Anchored Mode, deploying the Colossus completely changes the functionality of the main weapon. Upon deploying using Deployment: Skylance Battery, the Colossus' main cannon is reconfigured into the Skylance Cannon, greatly adjusting the weapon's statistics and elevation.
The Skylance Cannon is forced into a high elevation unable to look down, and firing the Skylance will deal 500 feedback damage over time to the Colossus.
However, in exchange for this, the Skylance Cannon has a vastly increased projectile velocity, as well as no projectile drop, deals greatly increased damage, and pierces all vehicles. This piercing functionality works on the Bastion Fleet Carrier, allowing the Skylance to hit hardpoints on the far side of the Bastion.
The Skylance is a dedicated anti-air, specifically an anti-Bastion weapon, with in-built features designed to facilitate destruction of Bastion hardpoints normally impervious to ground fire. While it can be used in anti-ground roles if the Colossus is deployed on a slope, this is not its intended role.
Effectiveness[]
Mammoth Cannon[]
The Mammoth Cannon deals the weapon's normal damage, and does not suffer any damage fall-off.

Trivia[]
- The Mammoth Cannon was previously a prop that had been in the game since launch.
- Mammoth Cannons can be seen on the second floor of a Tech Plant's main building, near the Capture Point. These turrets, however, are unmanable.
Known Bugs[]
- The Colossus only receives at maximum of 500 damage each time it fires while Mass Accelerator Drive is active, or whenever the Skylance Cannon is fired, rather than the damage taken scaling down from 1000 based on the rank of Mass Accelerator Drive.
- Accurate as of the February 9, 2021 Update (Outfit Wars Returns)
History[]
- June 24, 2020 Hotfix
- Direct damage from 750 to 850.
- Projectile velocity from 150 to 250.
- Projectile gravity from 4 to 5.
- Swapped impact FX with ones more fitting its splash damage range.
- July 1, 2020 Hotfix
- While in Skylance (deployed) Mode, you will now only see the HUD indicators of Bastion weakpoints within 1000 meters.
- Skylance damage from 1500 all distances to 1500@500m - 1000@1000m
