Note: Available as part of Seventh Anniversary Bundle.

The NSX Daimyo is a common pool Sniper Rifle, as well as the last weapon arriving from Nanite Systems Export series. Its significant headshot bonus allows for single shot kills easily at close range (two shots at medium to long range), but its low damage is punishing for any body shots.

Additionally, the weapon invites exclusive scope usage, as it is exceptionally inaccurate at the hip. The combination of these two factors makes this weapon difficult to use for anyone who is unskilled at scoped headshots, further emphasised by it's default 4x Iron Sight Zoom.

This sniper rifle's unique rail attachment Weighted Receiver provides the weapon with a perfect "zero" scope accuracy while moving, negating the movement penalty at the cost of slower scoped movement (33%). Even though the weapon has a three shot chamber, the excessive bloom makes it very difficult to land the double headshots required at longer ranges without letting the weapon settle first. After shooting, there is a 90ms extra delay before recoil starts to settle. AKA - "recoil_recovery_delay_ms: 90ms"

Gravity = 7.5 (Same as other Sniper Rifles)

Damage with Range:

325 @ 10 meters

285 @ 180 meters ( End of OneShot range if Head shot )

250 @ 350 meters

History[edit | edit source]

  • June 17, 2020 Update
    • Now appears in filters as a Sniper Rifle, instead of a Scout Rifle in marketplace filters.
    • Maximum damage from 225 to 325.
    • Minimum damage from 175 to 250.
    • Headshot multiplier from 5x to 3.5x
    • Dev Note: We're reducing the extremes between bodyshots and headshots a bit so the reliance on the Daimyo's unique headshot multiplier is lessened, though it will remain incapable of a 3 bodyshot kill at maximum damage range.
