The NSX Masamune is a rocket launcher produced by Nanite Systems, available to all factions. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.
The Nanite Systems Export Masamune provides balance between the immediate power of unguided rocket launcher like the NS Decimator and lock-on launchers such as the NS Annihilator. Depending on which stance is used, the Masamune either immediately launches its rockets in an unguided shotgun-esque pattern, or fires them in a burst one-by-one before becoming able to guide them.
When fired from the hip, the Masamune uses a shotgun-style pellet spread mechanic, firing all four of its rockets instantly. The launcher's spread and cone-of-fire remains the same regardless of the user's stance when fired from the hip.
When fired while aiming, the Masamune fires its rockets one-by-one, with a 250ms (0.25s) refire time. After a brief delay, the rockets will begin to slowly guide towards the center of the user's crosshair, so long as they remain aimed. If the user stops aiming, the rockets will begin to be subject to gravity, although can be guided again if the user returns to their sight.
Effectiveness[]
Assuming all rockets hit the target.

Ribbons and Medals[]
It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the NSX Masamune. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the launcher. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.
