Note: Available for a short time with "PS2WelcomeBack" code.

The NSX Tanto is a common pool Carbine, from Nanite Systems Export series, specialized for excellent initial accuracy from the hip. This functionality gives the Tanto the ability to fight up close or at range while maintaining a substantial mobility advantage for experienced shooters. Firing in short bursts is recommended, due to high CoF bloom during sustained fire.

This weapon makes an exception to the unique ability of Carbines, losing some of it's initial accuracy whilst airborne.

Damage with Range:

143 @ 10 meters

125 @ 39 meters

112 @ 60 meters

History[edit | edit source]

  • June 17, 2020 Update
    • Hipfire cone of fire bloom from 0.24 to 0.12.
    • Dev Note: The excessive hipfire penalty on the Tanto was originally meant to offset its higher-than-normal starting accuracy, but we've peeled that penalty back as it has enough counterbalances elsewhere.
