The NS Icebreaker is a melee weapon produced by Nanite Systems, available to all factions. It was unlocked upon completion of Chapter 1 of the Shattered Warpgate Campaign.
The NS Icebreaker is a heavy melee weapon. While wielded, this weapon deals 600 damage instead of 500 and features a larger hitbox (30cm rather than the standard 20cm), although swings slower at all times. The weapon's quick melee damage remains at 500 damage per swing.
To quick melee with this weapon, press the Melee Attack hotkey ( by default) while holding any other weapon. To equip this weapon for wielded melee, press the Equip Melee hotkey (- by default).
Ribbons and Medals[]
It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the NS Icebreaker. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the weapon. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.
