Nano-Armor Cloaking is an ability available to the Infiltrator. It is unlocked and upgraded using Certification Points.
When activated, the Nano-Armor cloaking device cloaks the user turning them partially invisible, while clearing any spots on them and preventing any further spots from being applied. Additionally, the Nano-Armor Cloak reduces the damage the user takes from various damage types by 35%. The device's maximum duration and recharge rate varies based on the rank of the ability.
This ability reduces damage received from the Small Arms, Heavy Machine Guns, Aircraft Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, Anti-Aircraft Machine Guns, Gatling Guns, Anti-Materiel Rifle, and Melee: Armor Piercing resist types.
The damage reduction effect provided by the device does not stack with other similar effects. The reduction provided by Nano-Armor Cloaking also reduces the damage dealt by headshots, rather than only applying to body and legshots.
To activate this ability, press the Use Ability hotkey (F by default).

History[]
- Updated the cert line description of Nano-Armor Cloaking.
March 30, 2022 Update (The Arsenal Update)
- Removed the 100 extra shield provided by Nano-Armor Cloaking.
- The damage reduction from Nano-Armor Cloak is now 35% at all ranks, instead of just the last one.
Dev Note: Removing the extra 100 shield helps create more consistency surrounding weapons that should be able to one-shot an infiltrator (the Commissioner with a headshot, for example,) while ensuring, similar to Resist Shield, that the ability is active to receive benefits.
- No longer suppresses shield shimmer when damage is taken while cloaked (effect has been moved to Chameleon Module suit slot.)
- Now passively increases shield health by 100 in all states.
- Nano Armor cloak will no longer shimmer when shot.
- The Infiltrator Nano-Armor cloak cert line has been adjusted so that it isn't as penalizing at the lower ranks when compared to the Hunter and Stalker cloaks.
- Cloak duration for ranks 1-4 have has been increased by 0.5 seconds each
- Rank 1 cloak regeneration from empty is now 13 seconds, down from the previous value of 15 seconds. All cert ranks now increase the regen rate by 0.5 seconds
- The final rank of the Nano-Armor cert line remains the same as before
- The Nano-Armor cloak now resists direct hits from the below in addition to infantry small arms. (This does not prevent any mocking you may receive from taking direct hits).
- Aircraft machine guns (ESF nose guns)
- Armor Piercing Chain Guns (Tank Buster, Shedder)
- Anti-aircraft machine guns
- Flak direct hits
- Vehicle secondary machine guns
- Nano-Armor Cloak no longer stacks with Nanoweave Armor
