Nason's Defiance is a Large Outpost on Hossin. It is the center-most facility of Hossin, designated as the continent's 'extremely valuable base'.
Base Layout[]
Nason's Defiance features a large central complex surrounded with walls and Phalanx Turrets, under this complex is where the C point is located featuring 4 entrances, 1 from B point, 1 from the generator 2 stack, 1 from A point and 1 from inside the complex. A point is located to the south of the base featuring a small 2 story building connected to elevated walkways attached to trees. The walkways are raised up enough to place a sunderer underneath, a common tactic for the faction attacking from Gourney Dam. B point is a large 2 story building with the B point being located towards in the back of the building on the second floor. The building is very open featuring many doorways on the first floor. Traversing to the second floor is done via the large central staircase or the jump pads located on the sides next the 2 vehicle terminals. The second floor has 2 staircases which lead up to a open roof featuring crates scattered around to provide cover as well as 2 small rooms to provide cover for the attackers.
Base Capture[]
To capture Nason's Defiance, your empire must hold at least one of the following bases:
As well as owning one the preceding bases, 3 points must be held for a net total time of 7 minutes or 2 points for a net total of 14 minutes. After this timer has elapsed the attacking empire currently holding majority of the points will capture the base. This does mean a base capture can be 'stolen', for example the TR and VS might both be attacking Nason's, the VS might hold 2 points for 13 minutes, meaning only 1 more minute is needed to capture the base. However if the TR captures 2 points they 'steal' the capture progress of the VS, resulting in them only needing 1 minute to capture the base. The defending team can remove capture progress by holding 2 or greater points to reverse the capture progress at the same rate.

The defending team of Nason's Defiance will usually choose to hold 2 out of 3 points to avoid becoming too spread out. Usually B and C point are chosen because of their proximity to the main defender spawn but upon losing B point is not uncommon for the defending empire to quickly retake A to avoid the clock being run down while B and or C is retaken.
A point[]
A point is located to the south of the main complex and usually will be attacked by the empire who holds Gourney Dam. The key to defending A point is locating the Sunderer/s which are usually placed in close proximity to the point because it is outside the bases no deploy zone. Once located they must be promptly destroyed. Routers are sometimes used with the base usually located close to Gourney Dam or in the mountains. It is usually easier to destroy the router and hold the point rather then go for the base with the spire. Close proximity to trees usually means routers and squad beacons will be placed in the tree to stop them from being destroyed, the best way to destroy these are dedicated light assualts, aircraft splash weaponry and coordinated valk / galaxy drops will usually result in the destruction of the spawn.
B point[]
Generators[]
The Vehicle Shield Generator protecting Nason's Defiance is located in a 2 stack on the eastern side of the base, near the north eastern staircase. Successfully overloading the generator will disable the vehicle shields located on the east and western sides of the base, allowing attackers to bring ground vehicles into the base. This shield can be bypassed with Gate Shield Diffuser like any other vehicle shield.
