The Routing Spire, once constructed, can be accessed with the Interact key (E by default) to acquire a Router, a deployable spawn pad that can be placed within 500 meters of any allied Routing Spire (including those not built by the Router-carrying player) to create a spawnpoint available to all members of the owner's empire.
If the Routing Spire that sourced the Router is destroyed, or all allied Routing Spires within 500 meters of a deployed Router are destroyed, then the Router will automatically despawn. Routers can also be quickly destroyed by direct enemy fire, though are immune to friendly fire.
