The Seeker HLX is a Heavy Crossbow produced by Nanite Systems, available to all factions as part of the Common Pool. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.
The Seeker HLX is a large crossbow capable of continuously firing high velocity hardlight bolts which deal significant damage to infantry, with the potential for perfect accuracy if aimed. Uniquely, the Seeker does not need to be reloaded—the crossbow's entire ammunition pool is contained in one single magazine allowing it to fire continuously without incurring a reload time, though the weapon's overall fire rate is instead tempered by a 0.2 second delay incurred before each shot is fired.
Due to the crossbow's unconventional ammunition layout, wherein it has no reserve ammunition and cannot gain any, ammunition replenishment effects (such as the Ammo Printer implant) will instead restock bolts into the crossbow's magazine directly at a rate of five bolts per tick.

It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the Seeker HLX. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the crossbow. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.

- September 29, 2021 Update (Nanite of the Living Dead 2021)

- October 6, 2021 Hotfix
- Minimum damage range from 150m to 120m for all non-Aerolite ammo types.
- The 6x optic is now uses the correct 6x zoom depth, instead of 3.4x.
- Projectile size from 0.09 to 0.06
- Projectile tracers are now more visible.

- Indirect damage is now resist type 6 (Common Explosive) instead of resist type 2 (Small Arms.)
- Indirect max damage from 250 to 200

- Splitbolts now reduce headshot damage multiplier by 50% (resulting in a 900 damage headshot when all three bolts land within maximum damage range.)

- Now reduces hipfire cone of fire by 40%, instead of 100%.
- Aerolite Bolts
- Updated description to reflect the new "increase" in minimum damage range.
- Dev Note: The changes above reel in the crossbow's effective range slightly, and increases the tradeoffs of certain attachments. In general, the weapon should require more precision to use effectively, and will no longer be capable of one-shot kills against non-Infiltrator classes. We'll continue to monitor the crossbow's performance and take action as needed.

- Made additional visibility and duration improvements to the Heavy Crossbow's tracer's.
- Added better audio messaging of Heavy Crossbow's Fracture ammunition mid-flight.
