The Shield Matrix Pylon was a deployable ability available to Engineers of the New Conglomerate. It was unlocked through purchase with Campaign Standing in Sanctuary, after the completion of A Job Well Done.

When deployed, a Shield Matrix Pylon increased the maximum shield health of any eligible allies within 6 meters by 50. This bonus was not retained upon leaving the radius of the pylon, and players who were ineligible to receive shielding (such as MAXes or infantry using the Carapace implant) received no benefit.

Cost	Description
400	Allies within 6m of the pylon have their maximum shield health increased by 50. This item expires at the end of the Campaign.

  • Added to the game as a reward for the Biological Warfare event.
• January 15th, 2021
  • Rendered unacquirable with the end of Chapter 2 of the Shattered Warpgate campaign.
• May 5th, 2021
  • Once again acquirable, through purchase with Campaign Standing in Sanctuary after the completion of A Job Well Done.
• July 1, 2021 Update (_Integration)
  • No longer available with the end of the Shattered Warpgate campaign.

Notes

• This item was initially acquired from Biological Warfare, an event in Chapter 2 of the Shattered Warpgate campaign. It was later made available once again for purchase with Campaign Standing at the end of chapter 3.
  • Players who owned this item, regardless of source, lost access to it at the end of the campaign.
