The Stormglider Drone was a special item available to all non-MAX infantry classes. It was obtained from a storage locker in Nott or Elli Amp Station during the Kite and Key event of chapter 1 of the Shattered Warpgate campaign.
Similar to constructions, the Stormglider Drone was only ever a temporary item in the player's inventory, and could not be equipped manually in a loadout or retained after death.
The drone was to be deployed in an electrical storm to complete the objectives of the Kite and Key event. It would then be destroyed due to a lightning strike, progressing the event. After the completion of the event, the drone was rendered unavailable to the player.
