The Supernova VPC is a primary weapon available to the Magrider. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

The Supernova Volatile Plasma Cannon is the Magrider's specialized anti-infantry cannon. Though it deals moderately high damage-per-shot, it does not wield the quick reload speed of the Supernova PC nor the raw damage-per-shot or velocity of the Supernova FPC. The Supernova VPC instead incorporates a more lethal explosive payload, with the splash able to damage infantry out to longer distances than the Magrider's other cannons.

Ribbons and Medals[]

With any Magrider turret, it is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with a Magrider turret. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the Magrider turret.

    • Blast damage from 1050 to 800
    • Dev Note: We've been seeing the Magrider have far and away more infantry kills than any other HESH equivalent, and feel that that's mainly due to its maneuverability at ranges infantry would normally be able to keep tanks at bay. We're removing the one-shot splash kill within 1 meter, while still retaining the highest splash damage of the Magrider's main cannons.

    • Inner blast radius from 1m to 2m
  • March 30, 2022 Update (The Arsenal Update)
    • The reload speed certification lines for main cannons, noseguns, ESF wing mounts, Liberator bellyguns, and Flash weapons have been standardized at 5/7/8.5/9.5/10% reload speed.
