The TORQ-9 is an assault rifle available to the Terran Republic. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.
The Terran Operations Rifle Q - 9 finds its purpose on the field as an all-purpose rifle. As the only automatic assault rifle that shoots the lower caliber 125 round, the TORQ-9 may struggle in downing targets without scoring consecutive headshots but earns a whole slew of perks for this trade-off.
The TORQ-9, despite having ballistics implying a purpose as a longer ranged weapon, nonetheless has excellent close-quarters performance. A good hip minimum cone-of-fire and great aimed minimum cone-of-fire reward skilled aim, with low recoil aiding in this endeavour, and the weapon's large magazine combined with a fast reload speed reduce periods of vulnerability, all truly lending themselves to the TORQ's cause as the quintessential jack-of-all-trades.

Flash Suppressor![]() ![]() ![]() | A flash suppressor makes the shooter less visible to the enemy, but increases the range at which you appear on enemy minimaps by 15 meters.
Heavy Barrel![]() ![]() ![]() | A heavy barrel reduces cone of fire bloom by 20% while aiming down sights, but reduces aim down sights movement speed by 20%.
Short Barrel![]() ![]() ![]() | This shortened barrel reduces cone of fire bloom by 40% when firing from the hip, and increases vertical recoil by 20% while aiming down sights.
Suppressor![]() ![]() ![]() | The weapon's muzzle flash and noise generation is reduced, and the player no longer appears on the minimap when firing. In exchange, the weapon's damage falls off 20 meters sooner and bullet velocity is reduced by 15%. |
