The TRAC-Shot is a carbine available to the Terran Republic. It is unlocked upon completion of the Master Carbines directive.
The TRAC-Shot is an 'auraxium' variant of the TRAC-5, sharing most of the same base stats and decorated with a special 'auraxium' camo. Compared to the base weapon, the TRAC-Shot features a built-in Laser Sight. In exchange, the TRAC-Shot has a decreased muzzle velocity. In addition, the TRAC-Shot is given exclusive access to the Impulse Launcher by default.
To use the impulse launcher, press the Gear Slot 1 hotkey (1 by default) whilst the TRAC-Shot is equipped.

Ribbons and Medals[]
It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the TRAC-Shot. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the carbine. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.

- December 1, 2016 Update
- Hipfire minimum cone of fire while airborne now uses the same minimum hipfire cone of fire as a player who is walking.
- September 15, 2021 Update
- Fixed projectile sizes that were smaller than the standard on the following weapons:
- TRAC-Shot (TR Auraxium Carbine)
- March 30, 2022 Update (The Arsenal Update)
- Now has access to the Underbarrel Impulse Grenade Launcher by default.
- Reduced max-damage range from 15m to 10m.
- Dev Note: The TRAC-Shot keeps its built-in laser in exchange for a minor penalty to projectile velocity, and a variety of non-laser attachment options.
