The Swashbuckler is a melee weapon available to all factions. It is unlocked upon acquisition of the Quartermaster's or Fleet Admiral's Nine-Year Anniversary Bundle.

The Swashbuckler functions identically to any faction's standard issue knife, with only aesthetic differences. It deals a moderate amount of damage per swing, and has a relatively fast swing speed. It can be used both as a quick melee weapon, as well as a wielded melee tool.

To quick melee with this weapon, press the Melee Attack hotkey ( by default) while holding any other weapon. To equip this weapon for wielded melee, press the Equip Melee hotkey (- by default).

Ribbons and Medals[]

It is possible to earn both Ribbons and Medals while using the The Swashbuckler. Each ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the weapon. Medals are awarded upon reaching kill milestones with the weapon.
