The VE-H Maw is a light machine gun available to the Vanu Sovereignty . It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash .
The VE-H Maw (V anu E samir - H eavy Gun Maw ) is a light machine gun released alongside the MGR-L1 Promise and MG-H1 Watchman as part of a new series of Empire Specific weapons. Each seek to fill a gap in that faction's LMG lineup, and come with unique attachments. For the Maw, these are the Vented Power Core and Unstable Ammunition .

The added sound pressure causes the player to show on the minimap 35m farther away. Enhanced Plasma Containment 49 OR 100A flash suppressor makes the shooter less visible to the enemy, but increases the range at which you appear on enemy minimaps by 15 meters. Flash Suppressor 49 OR 100A flash suppressor makes the shooter less visible to the enemy, but increases the range at which you appear on enemy minimaps by 15 meters. Short Barrel 49 OR 100This shortened barrel reduces cone of fire bloom by 40% when firing from the hip, and increases vertical recoil by 20% while aiming down sights.
Rail Angled Forward Grip 49 OR 100An angled forward grip reduces the vertical recoil of the first shot in a burst by 60%, but increase the side to side recoil of a weapon by 10%. Darklight Flashlight 49 OR 100The rail mounted Darklight Flashlight can illuminate hostile cloaked infiltrators and dark areas but the light can give away your position.The light can be turned on and off with Toggle Attachment hotkey. Forward Grip 49 OR 100A forward grip increases control of the weapon, reducing horizontal recoil by 25%, but increases equip time by 0.15 sec. Laser Sight 49 OR 100A laser sight increases the user's hipfire accuracy by 33%. Vented Power Core 49 OR 100Removes the speed penalty when reloading an empty magazine, but the weapon will recoil more harshly in one direction while firing.
Ammo Soft Point Ammunition 49 OR 100Soft Point Ammunition increases the weapon's maximum damage range by 5 meters, but reduces its projectile velocity by 10%. Unstable Ammunition 49 OR 100Unstable Ammunition significantly increases the size of projectiles fired while reducing headshot bonus damage by 80%.

Dev Note: The recoil adjustments here place it more in line with the New Conglomerate's LA1 Anchor in terms of controllability, while retaining some faction distinction.
