Winter Holiday Event is a recurring annual event in Planetside 2. It typically starts mid-December each year, and lasts until early January after the New Year. The event task players with numerous "festive" themed objectives, such as killing players with present-shaped C4, and killing Snowmen that spawn randomly throughout the map.
The event also brings winter-themed equipment with it, like the Icikill knife re-skin, as well as unique directive rewards including exclusive Titles and cosmetics.
This event allows players to equip Winter-only cosmetics and enables the Experience Boost effect found on Holiday Hats purchased with Daybreak Cash.
